Bookstores have the right to charge whatever price they want for
books, but most bookstores in the United States use a standard
markup. We inform each bookstore of our suggested retail price for
the publications they purchase from us, using that standard
markup.
There are at least two things you might consider when you examine
our suggested retail prices.

While choosing the material to use in your courses, we
believe that you will find our quality is better and prices are
considerably lower than comparable books.

Our experience has shown that faculty is concerned about
the price that students pay for books. If your students are
paying more than our suggested retail prices, you might want to
speak with the bookstore manager about the prices they are
charging. |
